I'm here to talk about submissions to the group. Lately, it has come to my attention that more and more people seem to be submitting art to the group that even they do not regard as their best work, with the expectation of receiving a critique.
Critiques are an important part of every artist's life. They are what helps us grow, refine, and enhance our talent and skill. That being said, this group's purpose is to collect and feature high quality pieces of My Little Pony art; it is not here to hand out critiques to those who want one.
It takes time and effort to write a thorough critique; and even though there are a few of us, it still takes time to detail how something went wrong and why it's not up to par.
Thus, I would like to ask that all of those who submit art to remember that we are not a critiquing group. We will be happy to provide critiques and reasons for rejecting your art, but only when we have the time to. We still have our own busy lives, and we are all doing this because we want to, not because we have to.
Do not submit artwork to the group expecting a critique. This is not what the group is for, and we will not give you a critique if it's deemed this is what you are doing. If your work is declined, you may ask for a reason why it was, but please do not be offended if we do not respond; it takes time to get to every request for a response, and sometimes we just don't have the time, or overlook yours.
Remember, please submit only what you think is your best work. This is not a group for sub-par art.
Thank you everypony, and have a nice day.
